Our Beginning

Solutions Rendered, like many small businesses, was founded in a family garage in the late 1990′s. For over a decade, prior to this, a keen interest in electronics and computer programming had been a serious hobby. It wasn’t long before things had had grown into a viable business model.

Our early passion was the research and development of environmental control, and data monitoring systems for agricultural deployment. We were creating robust hardware suitable for measuring environmental conditions, analysing the conditions, delivering conditional changes, and reporting all of that data back to a central location.

Over time, as microcontroller technology improved, our interfaces became more complex, and our software moved slowly away from stand alone applications to web-based tools that could be deployed on networks far from controller hardware.

These changes saw us moving continually deeper into website creation as we integrated our field units into highly functional solutions for both domestic and commercial clients.

The domestic growth saw us integrating our systems with existing watering controllers and basic home automation. It was then that we pooled our resources and moved our focus into home automation. Our software interfaces were now demanding more polished, flashier design, and more functionality. Some of our clients had their own web sites and wanted them integrated with our control and monitoring pages. The home automation market was, and still continues to be, a very niche area, whereas the world wide web has seen a boom in content and end users over the last decade.
